Michelle Snitgen is the assistant director for the Center for Community Engaged Learning (CCEL) and leads the academic programs team, which is responsible for developing, supporting, and advancing academic community-engaged learning at MSU. She serves as a resource and consultant for faculty and a support for students enrolled in such opportunities. Prior to joining the CCEL in 2018, Michelle served as a program director for the MSU College Advising Corps and held positions as an active communities coordinator with the Michigan Fitness Foundation, a higher education consultant with the State of Michigan King-Chavez-Parks Initiative, and the assistant director of the Michigan Campus Compact. She holds Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degrees in Interpersonal and Public Communication from Central Michigan University. Michelle is an active member of the greater Lansing community as a non-profit organization board member, a volunteer, and a coach.
